4: NOT ALL PROTEINS ARE CREATED THE SAME:
Proteins are a huge part of cell creation and repair and thus at least 10- 30 per cent of our calorie needs must be met by protein. However, it should be known that not all protein is healthy to consume on a daily basis. Protein like ground beef or hot dogs can contribute to high levels of LDL and add to your calorie intake in an unhealthy manner. It is instead recommended to consume lean proteins like chicken or fish to fulfil your protein requirements.
5: SUPPLEMENTS CAN NEVER REPLACE REAL FOOD:
Multi vitamins can be very beneficial in the sense that they often contain vitamins like Vitamin D that could be absent in a regular diet. However, entirely substituting the nutrients in food for these supplements can do no good. The vitamins and minerals present in a multi vitamin can in no way match the large variety of nutrients that you get from consuming actual food. Regular use of such supplements is often just an excuse for a bad diet which can very much harm your body.
6: FINALLY, HEALTHY EATING IS A LIFE STYLE CHOICE, NOT A FAD DIET:
Good Eating is not just a phase which like a diet will end in a period of time. It is a choice that must be diligently followed throughout lifetime for one to remain healthy and well.
